WHITEWATER - ASCI's man-made river channel (located at the top of Wisp Resort in Deep Creek Lake, MD) is the world's only mountaintop whitewater course, and can be enjoyed by beginners, families and paddling enthusiasts. It will be open from May to October, 2012 for guided whitewater rafting, riverboarding, kayaking and more. If you are just curious about the course, come up to the top of Wisp resort anytime and walk around the facility.

CLIMBING - In addition to its 16 acre mountaintop campus at Wisp Resort, ASCI manages the Fork Run Recreation Area, a 550 acre forest with rock climbing, bouldering, mountain biking, hiking and geocaching. ASCI's specialty is a guided climb and rappel at Fork Run's "Ledges and Boulders."

EVENTS - ASCI is home to international-caliber whitewater events, festivals and adventure sport competitions. Inspired by the dramatic history and traditions from 40 years of whitewater exploration and racing in Garrett County, ASCI hosts national and international caliber events, as well as races, competitions and festivals for children, developing athletes, families, businesses and weekend warriors. Events bring thousands of people to ASCI to witness the great fun and excitement of adventure sports. To date, ASCI has hosted seven national whitewater championships (Slalom, Freestyle,Canoeing,Rafting), a bouldering championship, trail running races, a first ever 'Veterans Cup' whitewater race, and the annual Hooligan Race/ Great Pumpkin Festival.
