Welcome!

Training: Training at ASCI is included in the entry fee – once entry fee has been paid, athletes may paddle at ASCI anytime during normal commercial hours during the weekends prior to the race. Please call ASCI to confirm water times (weekend afternoon water is guaranteed; other water times contingent upon commercial traffic). At the discretion of volunteer athletes, training gates may be hung on the lower part of the ASCI whitewater course upon approval by Matt Taylor.

4-5pm              Check-in (Pick up entry packet)

Saturday, June 26

1-2pm              Check-in (Pick up entry packet)

3:30 – 5:30 Official training (without Rafts)

5:30 – 6:30      Course Construction

6:30pm            Demo Runs & Course Approval

Sunday, June 27

7am                 Water On

7:45am            Forerunners

8am                 First Run

Slalom Format:  Two runs on an approximately 20 gate course.  Water level will be at 3 pumps. The race will be on Class III whitewater with an intermediate-level slalom course.  Best of two runs counts.

Directions to Race Site

Volunteers: We need volunteer gate judges, starters, timers, etc. If we have enough non-racing volunteers we can run the race straight through. If not, racers will have to judge and the race-day schedule will be slightly altered. Any person who volunteers will receive private boater gift passes to ASCI.
